I‘m looking for a fire rated downlight, will Neoled downlights be suitable?
Yes, if you are looking for a fire rated downlight then all Neoled products work with 30 & 60 minute ceilings. Please note though that for our tiltable downlight, the Neo AJ adjustable light fitting you must purchase a fire hood accessory to comply.
I’m looking for an IP65 rated downlight, are Neoled downlights IP rated?
Yes, all Neoled downlights are sealed to IP65 at the light engine meaning they are suitable for use in wet areas such as lighting for bathrooms. If you are looking for an IP65 downlight then our Neo ES, TT & DL offer full IP65 protection to the fixture. Our Neo AJ adjustable downlight is IP rated at the light engine and will be protected from splashes, but please be mindful what protection you have behind the fitting as there is a gap between the two bezels meaning vapour can enter the void behind the fitting.
Are all your downlights made in the UK?
Yes, Neoled lights were designed in the UK and are built in our production facility based in Southampton.

Do you sell a recessed adjustable downlight?
Yes, our Neo AJ is a recessed tiltable downlight that is perfect for use in domestic lighting applications where you want to aim the light in a certain direction. Its adjustable bezel makes it perfect for positioning over art and for wall washing.
What is your connection with PhotonStar lighting and the EcoStar 600 downlight?
When PhotonStar lighting went into liquidation in 2018, Arlico Ltd (brand owner of Neoled) immediately recognised the ongoing potential of the EcoStar LED downlight collection. Arlico quickly secured the tooling for the main OEM components of the range with a view to rebranding and re-launching this classic collection of time-proven EcoStar downlight products. NEOLED continue the longstanding tradition of UK manufacture and, alongside investment in some new product offerings, the much-loved original EcoStar products are now available to buy again, exclusively from NEOLED.
